Burcu AYCİBİN
Burcu Aycibin works as a Food Engineer and Class A Occupational Safety Specialist at AkademiTurk Certification Services Inc. She has extensive experience in food safety, sustainability, environmental management, and quality management systems.
Throughout her career, she has played an active role in food inspection and reporting processes, specializing particularly in BRC consultancy, food safety management systems, and corporate quality practices. In the field of occupational health and safety, as a Class A specialist, she has successfully managed various practices ranging from periodic inspections and environmental measurements to the planning of first aid training programs.
In the field of sustainability, she supports organizations in ISO 14064 carbon footprint calculation, reporting and verification processes, and develops environmental compliance strategies through Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) consultancy. In addition, she provides consultancy on sustainability reporting in line with international standards such as Ecovadis, TSRS, GRI, and CDP.
In the textile industry, she has experience in HIGG FEM environmental performance assessment systems, FSC consultancy, Sedex and BSCI social compliance systems, and establishment of organic production systems. In the projects she has participated in, she has coordinated processes such as vocational training certification and the organization of journeyman and mastership examinations. She has also taken part in projects related to the implementation of HAAP quality systems in the healthcare sector.
Burcu Aycibin believes that quality and sustainability standards across different industries should be managed with a holistic perspective. Through her collaboration with Nil Akademi, she aims to strengthen the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance of organizations and provides consultancy services in line with this goal.
