Duration of Overseas University Education
In general, undergraduate education in many European countries lasts 3 years (except for medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy). However, if you will attend a preparatory year, this period extends to 4 years. If you want to apply for an undergraduate program without a preparatory year, you need to meet certain criteria:
- Your Turkish high school diploma’s overall grade point average should be at least 75 or above (this requirement may vary depending on the country, university, and program).
- You should have an international diploma (IB, Matura, Abitur, AP, SAT, etc.).
- Some universities or departments may require you to take their own qualification tests.
- English language certification (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.) requirements may vary depending on the country, university, and department.

Application Period
